What pushes the price up?

Full packing

Wrapping everything in boxes and plastic protects your things but adds cost. You can pack small items yourself.

Dismantling and assembly

Big wardrobes and beds need a carpenter. Ask whether reassembly at the new home is included.

Floors with no lift

Stairs mean more workers and more time. Some large furniture needs a crane.

Air conditioners

Taking down and refitting ACs needs an AC technician and is usually priced separately.

Distance and timing

Within Riyadh it's usually a fixed price, but traffic and rush hour can make the job longer.

Fragile items

Mirrors, glass, ornaments and big appliances need special wrapping and more care.

Before you agree with any mover

  1. Let them see your things

A visit, or photos and a video of your home, gets a more accurate price than a guess over the phone.

  2. What does the price include?

Packing? Dismantling and assembly? ACs? A crane? Get it all in writing on WhatsApp.

  3. What if something breaks?

Ask about compensation or a guarantee on your things before moving day, not after.

  4. Fix the appointment

Agree the day, the time, the number of workers and the size of the truck.

  5. Take photos first

Photograph valuable furniture before it's wrapped, so you can prove any damage.

  6. Pay when it's done

Best to pay a small deposit and the rest once everything has arrived and been put together.
