Tyres and puncture repair in Riyadh

A flat tyre, a car that pulls to one side, or time for new tyres? Here are rough prices, when a tyre must be replaced, and tips for summer.

How much do tyre services cost in Riyadh?

Rough prices for the service, not the tyres themselves. Tyre prices vary a lot by size and brand.

Wheel alignment (front and rear)About SAR 55 – 80
Wheel balancingAbout SAR 80
Tyre fitting serviceFrom about SAR 100

💡 When you fit new tyres, get them balanced and the wheels aligned. It makes the tyres last longer and the car steadier.

📅 Check the tyre's date code (4 digits on the side, e.g. 2325 means week 23 of 2025). An old tyre is dangerous even if it looks new.

Common problems and what usually causes them

Tyre loses air slowly

Usually a small nail or a worn valve. The shop checks it with water.

Car pulls to one side

Usually the alignment needs adjusting, or tyre pressures differ.

Steering wheel shakes at speed

Usually the wheels need balancing.

Tyre worn on one side

A sign of poor alignment. Fixing it protects new tyres.

Cracks in the sidewall

Sun and heat age a tyre. Cracks mean it must be replaced.

A tyre blowout

Usually low pressure with high heat and speed. Check pressures often in summer.

Before you replace your tyres

  1. Date code

Ask to see the tyres' date code before fitting. A new tyre should be recent.

  2. The right size

The size is on the driver's door frame or in the car's manual.

  3. All-in price?

Ask whether fitting, balancing and new valves are included.

  4. Repair or replace?

A puncture in the sidewall usually can't be repaired safely. Ask the technician clearly.

  5. Warranty

Ask about the manufacturer's warranty on the tyres.

  6. Reviews

Check the shop's reviews before you buy.

Tyre tips for the Riyadh heat

Check pressure when cold

Early morning, at least once a month, and before a long trip.

Don't overload

Too much weight plus heat raises the risk of a blowout.

Rotate the tyres

Swap tyre positions (front and rear) now and then so they wear evenly.

The spare

Check the spare and its pressure; many people forget it until they need it.

Common questions

How often should I replace tyres?

It depends on use, but in the Riyadh heat a tyre shouldn't be more than 4–5 years past its date code, even if it isn't worn.

When do I need a wheel alignment?

If the car pulls, after new tyres, or after hitting a big bump hard.

Does Laqeeni take commission?

No. Laqeeni is a directory that connects you with the shop directly. You agree and pay between you.
